DC resistance measurement of transformer winding is an essential test project during transformer delivery, repair and changing tapping switch. You can check the inter- welding quality and whether the winding with short circuit , can detect voltage divider tap each position is good and the actual position of the tap changer position is consistent with the instructions , lead breaks, multi-strand wire there broken stocks and so on.
