HV-TC Cable Fault Detector

Ⅰ Introduction

It provides a complete set of overhead line fault location solutions, integrating four functions: fault diagnosis, AC location, DC location, DC voltage withstanding test and AC voltage withstanding test. Innovative AC location mode, wireless method for low resistance fault detection, detect the characteristic signal right below the line, no need to hang the sensor to the line. It is simple operation, easy to use.

For a high-resistance fault that occurs when a smart switch (with ground PT) is installed, the AC location plus booster is used to locate without removing the PT. Device supports large capacity lithium battery built into the transmitter, which is easy to use and carry.

Device components

Mainly composed of transmitter, receiver, AC booster, direct connect sensor, hang sensor, ARC grounding adapter and accessories.

Ⅱ Features

1、 6-35kV overhead line fault detection and location

2、It integrates five functions: fault diagnosis, AC location, DC location, AC voltage withstand test, and DC voltage withstand test

3、Fault diagnosis:

Instruct an appropriate localization method

Circuit insulation resistance and capacitance measurement

4、AC location - direct output (ground with low transition resistance) :

Transmit signal: Active injection of high-power special low-frequency AC signal.

Receive signal: Segment detect along the line, no need to hang the sensor to the line

Efficient work: no need to mount the pole, greatly improve the test efficiency, reduce the working intensity

5、AC location - external AC booster output (the line has ground PT, medium transition resistance ground) :

Transmit signal: Active injection of high-power special low-frequency AC signal

Receive signal: Segment detect along the line, it is necessary to hang the sensor to line

It is not necessary to remove the line ground PT

Innovative resistive current content and current amplitude comparison, to solve a wider range of faults

Transmit signal: Active injection of high-power pulsating DC signal

Receive signal: Segment detect along the line, it is necessary to hang the sensor to the line
